Quebec Ice Hotel Photos and Notes
The Restaurant

Many people come here to stay at the heated hotel and to do all the fun winter activities of the area, so the restaurant was quite full. They had an interesting menu although the appetizer I wanted - red deer - wasn't available. Jenn had salmon and I had calamari. For our main dishes I had three wild game meat stew. Dessert was chocolate cake. We got a bottle of Inniskillen Cabernet Franc for our wine. It was funny because this is a Canadian wine from Ontario, a winery I like a lot. I ordered it and our waitress said "I'm sorry, I don't speak English very well." I pointed and said "The Inniskillen". She goes "Oh! That's a great wine." I'm thinking, yes, it is in fact a Canadian wine that you didn't know the name of :)

These next 3 photos were taken during breakfast the next morning, but they let you see what the room was like.

Dinner was great fun, quite relaxing by a warm fire. Now it was time to head back to the hotel and hop into the hot tub!
