Oomingmak Smoke Ring Wearing
Interested in the Oomingmak - or musk ox - smoke ring? Here are photos showing the variety of ways you can wear this snuggly warm item.
First off, what IS a smoke ring! Think of this as a tube of fabric. Look at the below photo. You can see the man at the store - and behind him, a photo of a woman in the same smoke ring. You start by pulling the tube down over your head. If you leave it draped down the back of your head - and pull it down in the front so your face is clear - it's quite warm!
Just by tucking the front edges down, you form a lovely and snug cap!
If it's really cold out, you can pull the front up to cover your nose. In this photo the shop person is moving the fabric up.
When you tuck this fabric in, you end up with a nice shield for your nose and mouth!
