Me Myself and Irene - Motorcycles in Movies

Jim Carrey's movie Me Myself and Irene has him starring as a Rhode Island motorcycle cop. He rides all over Rhode Island. His wife was the president of Rhode Island Mensa - and she runs off with an African American Midget who is the president of Boston mensa. So Jim is "stuck" raising a triplet set of black children who are not his. They are smart and foul mouthed.

In a really bizarre plot device, he has to take a woman back up to New York ON HIS MOTORCYCLE to return her to a New York cop to explain a hit and run charge. They don't take her in a car??
