Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care Cat Food

I like Nutro. It's a good quality product, if a bit pricey. Just look at the back label - they give you a TON of nutritional information and specifically work to meet AAFCO cat nutritional guidelines.

Ingredients are:

Chicken broth
chicken
chicken liver
chicken giblets
wheat gluten
beef liver

That's rather impresive. Yes, there's some wheat in there to hold it together - but when you look at the product it doesn't look "gummy". It looks like a nice broth with meat chunks.

Not only are those values good, but there are a ton of other entries listed, for calcium, iron, zinc, vitamin D, vitamin E, etc. The food makes sure that the cat gets his or her daily vitamin needs met.

Feeding recommendations is 2 pouch per 5 pounds across a day. So an 18 lb cat should get 7 pouches a day. I like the fact that they want you to space that out over a day which is important. I still think 7 pouches for one 18 pound cat is a ton of food.
