Paw Print Casts

You know those cute baby handprint and footprint images you see? You can do the exact same thing with your cat, for free! This is the perfect mememnto of your loved pet. You could do this every year, and paint and decorate each one to commemerate the event!

First, make the cast material. Mix together 3/4 cup water and 2 Tablespoons oil. Now add in 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of salt. This will make your base dough. Roll it out with a can or rolling pin until it's about 1/2" thick. Gently press your cat's paw into the dough to make an impression. You can even put your own handprint or footprint next to your cat's! Cut a nice design around the print or prints.

Now, bake the dough on a cookie pan for an hour at 200 degrees. When it cools, paint, decorate and enjoy!
