First let me tell you thanks for the wonderful site with all of the parakeet info !!!!!

I am a animal lover I have 2 cats 2 eastern painted turtles 2 fish and now 3 parakeets ! My husbands friend begged him to take some parakeets off his hands because he has to many so knowing me I said ok give them to me ! I did not know a thing about any kind of bird let alone a parakeet ! So first thing I did was jump on the internet and started searching for any info I could get . I found some sites with a little basic information that did not answer all of the questions I had . Finally I found your site and it was loaded with information I thank you so much I don't know what I would have done had I not found your site !!!!!!!!

Wow, you are quite the animal lover! Just be sure to read the tips about keeping the cats and the keets from co-mingling. Cats are trained from birth to eat feathered, flying things. You don't want your keets to end up as a light snack!
