Parakeet with a Torn Cere

I found a parakeet with a partially torn cere. What is the best thing to

do for the bird. I have taken the bird into my home.

Always go immediately to your vet with any sort of injury with your parakeet. He/she will be able to make sure that nothing else is wrong with the bird and then figure out the best way to start the healing process.
