How much does an initial first-time parakeet trip to the vet cost on average?? This will also be a factor in whether I buy a parakeet or not! Thanks again!

You need to call the vets in your area to find out what they charge but usually it's $20 to $40. Considering that keets last for up to 20 years and that you will be buying them a cage, food and toys, that $20 shouldn't be a hurdle!
