Bleeding Tail

I believe our parakeet cut his tail on something while flying around in a closed room. How do we stop the blood and cleanse his tail?

You really should never let a keet out of its cage when you are not there - all sorts of things can happen. Keets only have tiny amounts of blood in them - always talk to a vet immediately when injuries occur.
