Parakeet Leaning and Twitching
User QuestionMy budgie hangs her head all the time. She never sits straight up she leans over the perch and puffs up her neck. Her head is level with the perch and she moves it from side to side and twitches. This has been going on for two weeks. I'm pretty sure my other male budgie, Sky isn't part of it because we got him a week after this started happening. I was wondering if this is a bad sign.

Many birds are acrobatic and love to hang out in strange positions. That being said, if this is unusual for your keet, then definitely take her to a vet. Vet visits are relatively cheap and can often find problems and solve them quickly.
