Parakeet Bathing in Soup
User Question
Tonight while we were eating dinner, my parakeet Pika was having dinner with us, and she was eating soup. Pika walked over to me, and then she started taking a bath in my soup, and so that was the end of my meal. And then she tried to get into the soup bowl to take a bath.
The End
thanks

I definitely hope the soup was not hot though, or that the keet was out while the soup was cooking. I know several keets that were scalded by being loose in the kitchen and flopping into cooking pots. You may think your keet is tame, but keets do stupid things sometimes and you're responsible for making sure they are only out in a safe environment!
It sounds like you should keep a bathtub in your keet's cage, so she has somewhere more normal to splash :)
