Lisa's Answer
You are the owner, you are the one responsible for training your pet :) You can't expect a wild animal to spontaneously just be "nice"! A pet needs to be taught to trust you, to bond with you slowly over time. Think if a strange man walked into your house. You wouldn't just trust him immediately! You would get to know him and have him prove he is a friend before you trusted him.

Make sure you are following my training instructions and working on this every day. No good relationship just happens immediately. The strongest relationships always build up slowly over time, through time, patience and effort. Remember, parakeets can live for **20 years** and learn to talk, they are extremely intelligent. You have to earn that trust.
