Baby Parakeet Poop

Hello I was wondering if you could help my out, my baby bird hatched on dec 28th and is a beautiful yellow budgie, I have just removed him from the nest box jan 23rd as he was eating on his own a bit.. but i noticed that his poop is a bit watery and green.. not the same normal as his parents, is that a big concern I should look into or is it just becase he is still young.. could you let me know what you think.... I would love the help

I really don't feel qualified to answer questions about breeding - as this is a serious task that really requires specialized training and equipment. Hopefully you had both parents checked out by a vet before you allowed them to breed, so call the vet up and see what he / she says! You should most definitely have a few books on parakeet health and care, if you are going to take on the 24 hr a day responsibility of caring for newborn keets.
