Bird Burned by Hot Coffee

My father and his bird like to sit together during coffe time. The bird "Tweety" landed in the cup and was burned. he seems healed but puffs up alot and is missing the downy feathers , what can he do?

You should never, ever have a keet out when something dangerous is arond. It is you responsibility as the owner to make sure a room is fully safe before a keet is brought out into it. The same is true if you have an infant, you wouldn't let an infant crawl around on the ground if there was broken glass was on the ground. You can't ever assume "oh the child will not go in that direction". It is what little creatures do, they seek out trouble.

Take your keet immediately to a vet. You should never trust email or websites when an injury is involved. Only a vet can diagnose and help your keet.
