Keet is Grumpy

User Question
Okay, I came in tonight and found that my keet Lilly has a small brown spot on her chest and above her cere. I am assuming that it is dried blood and it is on her cere because she has been picking at it. It dosen't appear to be bothering her and isn't bleeding freely, but I don't know what to do about it. Should I clean it or what? Also she is very tempermantal lately. Sometimes she is quite content to sit and be stroker and other times she makes a sound similar to a squirrel and bites; it's slightly confusing.

Lisa's Answer
Keets really can't scratch their faces with their claws, that would be extremely odd. I'd take her into a vet - it could be mites or something else harassing her, which would account for the blood and the grumpiness.
