Flying Around and Speaking

Thinking of getting a parakeet. So. do they need to be left out to fly around? dont know if that would work out for me. also. do they learn to speak? thanks for your time.

Our lisashea.com site answers all of those questions, in great detail! I would *definitely* recommend reading through all of it before you get a keet, to know what you're getting into. Yes they might talk but not all do. You can definitely hand train a keet so it hangs out with you as a best friend. If your aim is to keep it stuffed in the cage 24 hours a day, I'm not sure a keet is the best pet for you. That's pretty cruel to do to a bird.
