for "real" parakeets (i.e. Australian Budgies) they only really come in two sizes. The standard size is the one you see in most pet stores. Then there is a size specially bred to be larger, for pet shows. That is called the "English budgie" because it was people in England who tended to breed them like that. They are all still parakeets.
