Flight Feathers Growing Back

User Question
I recently bought 2 Parakeets for my Daughter at a local Flea Market. I have fallen in love with these remarkable little birds. They both have the flight feathers clipped on one wing, I wish this hadnt been done. How long does it take for them to grow back?

Lisa's Answer
It can take 3-6 months depending on where the keets are in their moulting cycle. By that point you should have the keets fully hand trained, so the timing should be perfect!
