You mentioned that there are some parakeet foods that are meant to meet all of parakeets' nutritional needs. My parakeet does not accept different foods other then the parakeet food I am giving it. However, the package of the bird food says: '8 in 1, a Natural Variety of fresh fruits, crunchy nuts, garden fresh vegetables, and wholesome seeds- Vitamin & Mineral Enriched' Will my parakeet be getting the type of nutrients/food it needs?

The issue with fortified seeds is that they normally roll the seed in the fortification. But when a parakeet eats a seed, they hull that outside and drop that part on the ground, and eat the inside.

It really isn't hard to train your keet to eat veggies. It takes maybe a week. I have advice on how to do it on the site.
