My Keet Isn't Drinking

User Question
My keet doesn't seem to be drinking. When I come home from school, the water level is the same. I know she eats because the husks are there, and she will willingly eat in my presence. But, I've never seen her take a sip of water accept for once. Could she be drinking, but in such small amounts that I can't notice? Or is something wrong?

Lisa's Answer
Keets don't guzzle down water. Not to be morbid, but if your keet was not drinking, she would be dead of dehydration. Make sure you change the water daily, and give your keet lots of fresh greens and veggies. In the wild, keets get a lot of their water intake in food. They don't have to drink glasses of it :)
