About how old is a budgie when it has finally lost all of its stipes on the forehead? How can you tell its age without knowing when it lost its stripes or if it doesn't have a band?

a keet loses the stripes at maturity, about 6 months. After that, only a vet can tell how old the keet actually is. And even then it's often just a guess. Keets don't have rings, like trees :)
