Keet Stops Speaking After Move

My parakeet was speaking about 30 words. We moved to a new apartment about a week ago. The first 2 days the bird was talking as usual but now it has stopped completely although it is chirping and otherwise seems ok. Any ideas?

It sounds like your keet has become afraid of something, maybe things are more stressful in the new location? Spend a lot of the time with your keet talking to him, make sure he is in a spot that is comfortable, not too hot, not too cold. Maybe it smells like cat or something? I'm sure once the keet settles in and realizes it is a safe environment, the talking will start up again.
