Keets, Bins, Cats and Names

Hi, umm I'm 13 and getting my new parakeets when i get back from vacation. TWO parakeets. i gonna get em' at petsmart and was wondering if you knew if the parakeets and other birds are hand raised there, not a big barrel -o- keets as you have stated. I also have a cat at home... Do you think my 5 and half foot desk is an appropriate place to put there cage? one more thing, do you think i should name the keets Larry and sunshine or sweetie and nutty?!?

I don't know the parakeets at all petsmarts across the entire world :) You have to ask at a particular store how they raise those keets. Having keets around cats is never a good idea. Cats are made to eat keets. Keets are made to flee from cats. Cages should be far away from cats ... what you name the keets is up to you!
