Teaching Keets to Say Coo Coo

I tryed to teach my two parakeets to go "koo-koo,koo-koo!" like those clocks, but whenever I do it, they just sit very quietly! How can I teach them? Thank you so much!!

That is very cute! I teach my keets to say FEE-BEE like chickadees which is the same thing like koo-coo like clocks say. Keets are VERY smart and will learn to say prety much any phrase or song or words you teach them. But you have to teach them daily. The can learn to say "good morning" or "hello Lisa" or other phrases. So it is up to you to actually keep repeating a phrase so the keet learns it.
