Two Keets Not Hand Trained
User Question
I have 2 keets (Lil-Tweet & Baby Blue ) I hand trained them befor finding your site everything is fine in that dept , thay come tome in the cage they arnt scard of any thing,After reading through your site I decided that they were ready to come out there house I took the cage down to a lowwer table to make acsessing the cage easier Lil-Tweet got on my figer & I brought her ( I ihk its a her ) to the edge of the cage after about 45 sec. of survaying the livingroom she took off for a split sec. I thought everything was fine then, She started running into walls and landing on the nearest thing then taking of again and running into them again,(WE have a tendancy to end up with inpaied pets we had a sucker fish who sam upside down, his name was Belly-Up, we havw an uncoordinated Cat, She falls off of things, ALOT!, She even fell down the stairs, literally fell like you or I would fall down, Ther have been A few more interestig animals in our lives, anyway after about a min. of wall tag I turned to my huband and said " Oh no not another One ) We decided to wait for Blue to venture out, he seemed a little more hesetant, however he did decide to brave the great outdoors, all the while Tweet was still flying blind,so to speek, As blue set off we held our breath and no more than a few sec.later he (at least I think its a he) too started flapping wildley and bumping and falling I thought " eather its contages or its some kind of strange Parakeet ritual they do when let out for the first time?So...that said are my little babies Retarted?(I am aloud to use this somewhat derogetory,word (the retarded word)Being that my first born is an amazingly creative & simply the sweetest ever Autistic 8 yr old boy,therfor I have immunity when it comes to words lik these.Even uor kids are imparard, go figure.)Please let me know what you think.(about the birds)and any advice you have would be greatly appriciated.Blessed Be Mama kirk 4

Hand trained keets would not fly around blind. It sounds like these keets were not hand trained and you were hoping they were OK. Work on them further so they are fully trained before you let them out to roam free ...
