Keet Attacked by Dog

my mother has a cute little parakeet, about 2 years old. My sister's dog got a hold of him, and had him in his mouth. His bottom beak was broken in this dreadful incident. He cannot eat, but my mother hand feeds him yogurt threw a shringe. Is this good to feed him? Should she also try something else? I hate to see him like this, it breaks my heart. The incident happened 6 weeks or so back, and he's been doing okay, but will his bottom beak ever grow back? Its growing out to the side, and not coming to a point. What can be done?

It is critical you get the keet to a vet for proper care. If the keet cannot eat and get proper nutrition, it will die. Yogurt isn't proper nutrition for a keet to survive on.
