But I really don't recommend trying to raise babies in a mob of 6 parakeets. That's not a good family environment. It sounds like one of your keets decided to lay eggs but they weren't fertilized. This is just like chickens who lay eggs every day - they don't turn into chicks! They get put into crates and sent to us to eat for breakfast. Those are unfertilized eggs too. Birds lay eggs that are unfertilized if there aren't males around breeding with them.
If your question is the physical act of intercourse, parakeets (and most other birds) have sex just like cats and dogs and horses and so on do. The male parakeet has his sex organ, just like human males do. The female parakeet has the place that the sex organ goes into. The male parakeet puts his organ into the female's opening and that is how his sperm gets into her, to then impregnate the eggs so that a baby is formed.
