Bird Breeding
Compared with cats, dogs and horses, birds are relatively inexpensive to buy. You can get a pair of budgies for only $30. Birds are also relatively quick easy to breed. If you start with a bird type that is pretty friendly and inexpensive - say a pair of budgies - there isn't a lot of investment. If you're able to then breed a special color, say purple, you can make several hundred dollars per bird that you sell.I *highly* recommend talking with a vet, talking to breeders in your area, and getting a few books on the breeding basics. You want to be as comfortable as possible with your chosen bird type before you start encouraging them to breed.
