Great Aunt Nancy Grammer

Easter Notes from her Baby Book

Nancy's first Easter was April 20, 1919. Grandmother Warren gave her a red hen with 14 baby chix. Lucile sent her a bird, and mother colored her eggs.

Baby is learning so many sweet things now, such as: "Whip the bad baby on the head", "Spank the baby" etc. But the sweetest thing she does is in response to "Where's daddy?" she'll point her finger at his picture and say , "Dare da da". She goes from room to room in her walker now too - age 11 months.

(Her dad was still in France for WW1 at this point)
