I just got back from ten days in the Caribbean with my mom and stepfather.

Just home from a wonderful 10-day cruse starting in Tampa and going to Key West, Puerto Rico, and St. Maarten. We were supposed to stop in Haiti but sadly the unrest there is still spiraling worse. I am grateful that I could spend an evening with my sister, Tammy, before departing. I’m also immensely grateful to my mom and stepfather for taking me on the trip. It was wonderful spending so much time with them and with Jane and John.
I had a fantastic time taking photos throughout the trip – and I’m thrilled that the time rekindled my passion for writing. I had gotten burnt out after finishing a quite dark series last autumn and for a few months I just could not find the fire to write any more. I’m so, so pleased that it has at last returned to me.
Evening meditation time. I’m grateful for all I have in life, much due to the sheer random luck of where I was born. I could very easily have been born in a vastly different location and encountered a life full of immense challenges. All in our world deserve peace. #namaste
Meditation time – only 6379 FitBit steps today but made good progress writing my novel. Life is about finding balance. What did you do today? #namaste
Evening meditation time – I took 624 photos and walked 10294 steps today. This FitBit is lending a hand with my goals! Happy. I didn’t get any writing done today, but I’ve got time blocked out for tomorrow. How are you doing? #namaste
