Do Not RushI'm a great fan of Shuson Kato's poetry. Somehow he is able to drop a pure thought right into my soul. I can feel what he's conveying. This Do Not Rush haiku definitely speaks to me.
Shuson Kato at first disliked haiku but after being mentored by an elder poet Shuoshi Mizuhara, he came to love it.
without a break ... do not rush
do not rush so much
-- shuson kato
Here is a bookmark I made of this haiku. I took the photo in a forest in central Massachusetts.
